I recently convinced Stone to submit to a quirky interview, to allow readers to get to know him better. I've edited out most of the brooding silences and attempts at intimidation (Stone doesn't really do quirky very well).

Elissa: If someone offered you a chance at the thing you most wanted but you could never tell anyone about it, would you take it?

Stone: To have Eva in my life, anything. I have a lot of practice with secrets.

E: Do you dwell on mistakes or move on?

S: I fix them. In my business, dwelling on mistakes instead of paying attention to the present will get a man killed.

E: And what business is that?

S: [hard stare] International consulting.

E: What traditions do you follow?

S: None at all.

E: Do you respect genius?

S: Only if it's put to good use.

E: Do you prefer chemistry or philosophy?

S: Philosophy. As long as others are working on the chemistry. Explosives are useful.

E: Do you shop for clothes?

S: [hard stare]

E: OK. Moving on. Do people know the real you?

S: Only Eva.

E: Do you flirt?

S: A little flirting can be a very effective method of persuasion. But I only mean it with Eva.

E: Anything else you want readers to know?

S: [Departs]
